A New Year

Here comes my oh-so-emo end of the year post. - AGAIN.
I read through my post last year. *click here*

And yes, here am saying that I've succeeded in treating people better. Well, I did much better this year compared to 2008. No worries, I'm gonna try to be an even better person every year.

Though I did swear quite a bit this year, but I've learned how to limit the bad words I use. :P

A quick and rough idea of 2009. (I'm currently racing against time as I only have 2 hours to go through the 8640 hours in 2009!!)

My last 'first day in school' , last cross country, last sports day...
My high school life has been awesome. With my great buddies to experience every single moment with me. Of course, there are things that I would love to change, given a chance to. But then again, I guess that I'm just going to have to accept the mistakes I made and learn from it. :)

There were certainly some ups and downs this year. I remembered being a rebel for close to a month. Not talking to anyone, just locking myself up in my room. Things changed when Benji was brought home. I've never felt so happy to own him. I'm embarrassed to say this but yes, it was a dog who changed my perspective in life - which used to be hate and anger towards my family as I blamed them for my relationship failures and what not. Thankfully, I changed before it was too late. And who else could have done it but God Himself?

Overall, I had an amazing year. It was a roller coaster ride, but I had definitely built a stronger relationship with God and my family. There's nothing I could ask more. - Well, maybe for another good year. Lol.

Hmmm, SPM seemed like ages ago. It's very vague but I know I won't be able to run away from it long.
Academically, my year hasn't been the best ever but with God's grace, I believe He'll grant me the results that's best for me.

Oh, and I'm happily announcing that I have managed to achieve my 2009's New Year's resolution. Well, 10 out of 13. Joey Choo is a very happy girl. *gives self a pat on the back*

College next year and believe me, I'm freaked out yet excited at the same time. After all, it's going to be an entirely new experience for me. New environment, new people. EVERYTHING also new lah. Lol. Gonna try my best to enjoy college life now. :D


I think it's high time I end this long-winded post and start planning on my upcoming new year's resolution. Hopefully, I'd be able to achieve them all next year. :)

Let It Snow

Hi all! :)

Firstly, I have been too busy managing my Mum's and Dad's christmas shopping for each other that I hardly have time to sit on the comfy chairs in Curve what more blog. (longgg story)

Secondly, I memang takde mood nak blog. LOL. But since I promised a Christmas-y post, here it is! I don't even remember promising, oh well.

OH and btw, the number of presents seem to increase day by day. And no one wants to admit that they have been impersonating santa claus. Hmmm? Time to be Sherlock Holmes and uncover the mystery behind the appearing gifts. :O *jengjengjeng*

Planet Earth turns Slowly

Hi.

Sorry for the lack of updates. Haven't really had the mood to talk to anyone, what more blog abt stuff.

Have been hanging out with friends since SPM is officially over. Did my christmas shopping. Yada, yada, yada..
Went over to Midvalley yest and watched Couples Retreat, and honestly it wasn't good. Some parts are funny but I guess I wasn't in the mood to laugh much.
One guy really pissed me off yesterday. I bet he's done it before so why take it out on us? Read Meli's blog if you wanna know what happened.

I am this close to getting behind the wheels. I wanna be able to drive as soon as possible so I can just drive somewhere when I need some time alone to think. (It's a sucky excuse but I don't care.)

Sister just got back from camp and I think she's getting WAYYY too many fans/admirers. From texting to fb-ing to msn-ing? When will they ever give it a break?
I'm kinda worried. But honestly, I think I'm feeling more envious than worried.
Back then, when I used to text 24/7, not even leaving my phone out of my sight. Having to clear my Inbox often. I kinda miss those times. Now? I'd be lucky to have more than 10 texts in my phone. (and usually, they're from my telephone operator)

Nevertheless, I believe that everything happens for a reason.
Things happen. Therefore, I'm not complaining.
And though whatever it is hurts like hell and is hard to accept, I've learned to embrace it.

For the hundredth time, I think that history is abt to repeat itself. ~ Yet again.


BUT I WILL SMILE MY WAY THROUGH IT. :)

The Twilight Saga: New Moon

I have finally watched New Moon.

Not the best ever, but I'm not complaining. :)

The movie has totally changed me and turned me into a Team Jacob. And yes peeps, I cried. Many times during the movie. :'(

SO technically, I'm Team Edward for the books but Team Jacob for the movies. How awesome. Like sitting on the fence only. Haha!

But it's true. The Jacob in the movie has a diff personality than the one in the book. He's way nicer in the movie. And not to mention - hotter. Lol.


So yes, today - I, Joey Choo am happy I got to watch it.
Can't wait for Eclipse now! 6 more months! ;)

12 Days of Christmas

Hello world!

I figured it's time I update you guys. Well, actually I'm doing this mainly because I was forced to. -.- You know who you are. *cough*nicklimszeliang*cough*

So yes, it's gonna be Christmas soon! I am currently in a Christmas spirit - which is oddly surprising. So I decided to set up the christmas tree. Not the prettiest ever I would say. Cos the ornaments are pretty old, but I like it. It's reminds me of the days when I actually CELEBRATED Christmas - my childhood. :) Every little OLD ball on that tree reminds me of the good old days.

I have 2 more subjects until I am completely free. So close yet so far, I'd say. Oh well. It'll come.

The 'rents are playing christmas songs downstairs. Currently waiting for '12 days of Christmas' to play. If that's the title. Sorry, I'm new with the whole Christmas thingamajig. Do forgive me. :)

All i want for Christmas this year. (in case you guys decide to be generous for some odd reason. :D )
- 11 A's for SPM (one or two A+ would do)
- a new dress
- boys like girls new album
- orianthi's album
- the vampire diaries book series
- new moon soundtrack :D :D
- more statement tee's ;)
- a pretty headband - considering that i'm gonna need it to hide my ohsouglybangs :(
- cute rings (yes, i am very into having silver bands around my fingers. all 10 of them would be nice. heeee )
- dark coloured nail polish. somewhere along the lines of black-purple-blue

Just hoping that Christmas this year would different. Would probably be having close friends over to just hang out and have fun.
I take that back. Christmas IS going to different this year. It's gonna be fun. Because I'm going to have my close friends and family to celebrate it with me. My most treasured ppl in life. How can I not?

Heck, I might even make dinner for them. Hah! Gonna buy myself a christmas hat. The red pointy one. Or maybe the reindeer horn thingy. Had one but it broke. It even came with a red nose. LOL.
